In a new episode of Kentucky Life, host Chip Polston meets the scientists fighting to save fragile plants in a nature preserve decimated by an EF4 tornado.
The program also explores the Miss Kentucky Pageant and the Miss Kentucky Scholarship Organization, highlighting their efforts to empower women across the Commonwealth.
Polston introduces viewers to Woodstock Lavender Co. in Pulaski County, where owners have successfully cultivated lavender in Kentucky’s climate and transformed it into a variety of products.
Finally, Polston meets a group of sailors who spend a week teaching Kentuckians about the mission and service of the United States Navy.
